GetPrayer

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction) to use GetPrayer. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a risk to the community.

3. Community Standards & Acceptable Use

GetPrayer is a faith-based community platform. You agree to use the Service respectfully and in accordance with these standards. You must not:

• Post content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, or threatening toward others;
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent prayer requests;
• Share content that promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activity;
• Spam, solicit, or advertise commercial products or services;
• Attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• Impersonate any person, organization, or religious figure.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards at our sole discretion.

4. User-Generated Content

When you submit prayer requests, journal entries, comments, or other content ("User Content"), you retain ownership of that content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant GetPrayer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the platform.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. Please use discretion and avoid sharing sensitive personal information.

5. Donations

GetPrayer may facilitate donations to prayer groups through the Service. All donations are processed securely via Stripe. By making a donation, you acknowledge that:

• Donations are voluntary and may be non-refundable;
• GetPrayer is not responsible for how group administrators use donated funds;
• Recurring donations can be cancelled at any time through your profile settings.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.

7. Disclaimers

GetPrayer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

GetPrayer is a spiritual community platform and does not provide professional counselling, medical, legal, or financial advice. Content shared by users reflects their personal views and experiences only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetPrayer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the community.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
